Or as we like to call it, as a Business Architect. A loud, proud Mancunian, she has spent the last 20 years making the ballsy business decisions no one else would think to make. Nina is your down-to-earth, no-nonsense expert; she is often mistaken for the tea lady when in fact she is helping to turn around the fortunes of some of the biggest companies in the country. She will overhaul any business from top to bottom and is often head hunted for projects no-one else knows what to do with. Described affectionately as a “wild card” and having failed all her school exams, Nina’s approach is seen as unconventional but one that gets results. No one disagrees with the fact she’s direct, uncompromising and fearless. She is able to get people on her side almost immediately, and in the process of sorting out your business, she will also become your psychiatrist. Nina wants everyone to succeed, from the CEO to the cleaner. At the age of just 30, Nina was awarded a Board Directorship. She has attained a huge amount of respect and recognition in her career; after working on projects for Zeneca Pharmaceuticals, Brunner Mond and Norwich Union. Having worked in countries including Nigeria, Ghana and Indonesia, Nina is willing to work anywhere and will take on any business. With an Indian Kenyan father and from a mixed Muslim background, she is very aware of the international and cultural aspects of business. Nina even recently managed to successfully merge the two in her Muslim/Manchester City FC themed wedding! Always original, Nina felt her peer group was dull and uninspiring so set up Cheeky Monkey Business Solutions in 2004 to show the world that business change projects can be delivered differently. Her business now delivers projects for a client list that includes Boots, Unilever and PZ Cussons. Nina’s first book; “99 Steps That Will Transform Your Business” was published in November 2011. |
