Information about Turbo Duel/Riding Duel:
What is Speed World (1 & 2)?
Speed World is a unique Field Spell for a Turbo Duel/Riding Duel. And it is automatically activated at the start of a Turbo Duel/Riding Duel. It exists for placing Speed Counters (which is for Speed Spells). It also has its effects depending on whether it is Speed World 1 or Speed World 2 (for Speed World 2, players can activate its effects). These are the effects of both cards:
1. Speed World 1
If a player activates a non-"Speed Spell" Spell Card, they take 2000 damage. Except during the first turn of the Duel, during each player's Standby Phase, each player places 1 Speed Counter of their own on this card (max. 12 each). When a player takes damage, remove 1 of their Speed Counters from this card for each multiple of 1000 damage that player took.
2. Speed World 2
If a player activates a non-"Speed Spell" Spell Card, they take 2000 damage. Except during the first turn of the Duel, during each player's Standby Phases, each player places 1 Speed Counter on their copy of this card (max. 12 each). You can remove any number of your Speed Counters from this card to activate an appropriate effect:
● 4: Reveal any number of "Speed Spell" Spell Cards in your hand, and inflict 800 damage to your opponent for each card revealed.
● 7: Draw 1 card.
● 10: Destroy 1 card on the field.
Speed World has these ruling-related features:
-It cannot leave the field by any means.
-You cannot activate a new Field Spell to replace it.
-It is unaffected by card effects.
-When a player activates a Speed World 2’s effect, it starts a Chain.
What is Speed Spell?
Speed Spells are a type of Spell Card that is exclusively used in Turbo Duel/Riding Duel. To know if it is a Speed Spell or not, it always has "Speed Spell" in its name. Players can put them in their Decks (as a replacement for all types of Spell Cards). Speed Spells need Speed Counters to be activated by having enough Speed Counters as its requirement or removing Speed Counters as a cost (sometimes both). And they have these features:
-They are treated and are worked like Normal Spell Cards (following the Yu-Gi-Oh anime/manga ruling).
-Cannot be used for any format, except for Turbo Duel/Riding Duel
What is Turbo Duel/Riding Duel?
A Turbo Duel/Riding Duel is a type of Duel which only played by either using a Duel Runner/D-Wheel or a Duel Board. And Speed World is automatically activated at the start of a Turbo Duel/Riding Duel. Also having a new type of Spell Card called Speed Spells. It was created with the advent of Momentum. It adds an unexplored element of dodging, riding skill, intimidation, and imagination. Turbo Duel/Riding Duel still follows the normal Yu-Gi-Oh anime/manga Duels, except it is more intense than regular Duels. And having some additional rulings and features:
-As can be seen in Speed World (1 & 2) effect:
+Only Speed Spells can be activated (if a player actually activates a different type of Spell Card, they take 2000 damage).
+During each Standby Phase, place 1 Speed Counter on both players’ Speed Worlds (max.12).
+For Speed World 1, remove 1 Speed Counter for each multiple of 1000 damage you take
-The player who goes first can be decided in 3 ways:
+Players agree on who goes first.
+The challenger goes first.
+The first player to reach the first corner of the arena goes first.
-When an attack is declared, players have time until the attack connects to respond.
-During official events, coming to a complete stop for any reason results in a loss.
-It is legal for players to have a little bump (only to create more obstacles, not intentionally sabotage their Duel Runner/D-Wheel)
-It is illegal to sabotage the opponent’s Duel Runner/D-Wheel.
