It is about building upon the 5G framework in a thoughtful way and layering a human-like intelligence to the network as well as a human-like autonomy in the decision-making that happens within the network. 6G is about everything being connected and everything being accessible as well as instantly responsive. All this has to happen in a very purposeful way. Human-like intelligence needs to determine where computation happens, how is data transmitted, etc. This purposeful network must be sustainable in light of the increased complexity and increased data transmission rates. We can’t allow power consumption to grow substantially.
