| Video Discription | I kept seeing a snippet uploaded here and there so I got a hold of the full available aircheck from a fan site, timed with footage of WUSA 9, Washington DC (Archive.org's Sept. 11 TV Archive) and WCBS 2 (Youtube channel WTC911demoliton). Video covers from 8:45 AM local to until the aircheck ends. You can find this aircheck here: http://donswaim.com/wcbssoundpage.html Sadly, the full aircheck starts at 8:48ish AM (2 minutes after the first plane crash) and lasts 29 minutes, which lands it around 9:17ish AM. And the reason why the traffic reporter didn't break in sooner was because the radio station scheduled it at 8:48. Oh well, it does break when it can on the first crash, and covers the second crash with additional coverage, so we're good. |
