| Video Discription | I get up nice and early today. Time to go to register for the birches campground. They only take 12 slots the earlier you get there the better. Myself Captain Chaos At and Stinger start a walk around 6:20 AM. We are very early. The mosquitoes have showed up for the smorgasbord of breakfast, as we are fully closed in our rain gear to minimize the pain! The Ranger arrives exactly on time at 7 AM the other hikers file, and just after as we have no problems getting slots in the shelter. No one else will join us for the rest of the evening. I have the option of taking a blue blaze and cutting my hike in half.
