The city of Boston is turning April 15, the date of a deadly attack on Boston marathon two year ago into a day of service. A commemorative banner was raised outside the former forum bar and restaurant on Boylston street to honour those who were lost and those who were saved. A moment of silence follows at 2:49pm, making the time the first of two bombs exploded near the finish line then the Church bells rang throughout the city April 15, was declared as One Boston Day, a new tradition meant to honour the city's resilience, generosity and strength of Boston. The anniversary comes amid a break in the trial of Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, who was convicted last week of carrying out the bombing attacked before the same jury that found him guilty decided whether to sentence him to death or life in-prison without possibility of parole.
