However, others may find grocery shopping overwhelming or frustrating due to challenges with focus, organization, and decision-making. Are Adults with ADHD Prone to Driving Accidents? ADHD can impact driving skills in a variety of ways, so whether or not adults with ADHD are good drivers can vary depending on the individual. Some studies suggest that adults with ADHD may be at higher risk for driving accidents and violations, possibly due to challenges with attention, impulse control, and decision-making. The ADHD Struggle with Time Management Time management can be a significant struggle for individuals with ADHD. People with ADHD often experience challenges with prioritizing tasks, estimating how long tasks will take, and following through on plans and goals. This can lead to difficulties with meeting deadlines, being on time for appointments, and completing tasks efficiently. Financial Management Managing finances can be a significant challenge for individuals with ADHD due to difficulties with organization, planning, and impulse control. People with ADHD may struggle to keep track of bills, create and stick to budgets, and avoid impulsive or reckless spending.
