| Video Discription | In April 2016, music fans around the world mourned the sudden departure of the artist Prince. This loss impacted the Minneapolis music community immensely and, since his death, Prince was celebrated in many sold-out tribute shows delivered by several of his former band members. A Moment Of Psilence was composed in Prince’s honor. It is an orchestral soundscape – an “ode” of sorts that highlights a few familiar moments from a couple of his songs. S TRINGenius® members are among the musicians who worked closely with Prince and were in the midst of a recording collaboration series with him when he passed. T his stellar 20-piece ensemble, along with guitarist Cory Wong, created a musical requiem for one Minnesota man – a champion of musical talent and a lover of great music. |
