| Video Discription | To commemorate the 60th Anniversary of the First Election under Universal Adult Suffrage in Barbados, the Barbados Labour Party hosted a Multi-Faith Service on Dec 4th, 2011. This milestone was achieved in 1950 with passage of legislation introducing this right, and especially on December 13th, 1951 with the holding of the first election in which all Barbadians aged 21 could directly choose political representatives.This is an edited video of the program.
