| Video Discription | Salata is the name for Afghan salad. It is usually served as a side dish. The amount made in this video serves 4-6 people. In this recipe, I used one Romaine lettuce heart, half a bunch of cilantro, one half of a medium-sized white onion, one half of a tomato, one Persian cucumber, and four sticks of green onion. I used a cutting board and a sharp knife to dice all of my ingredients. Something I consider to be a life hack is chopping the cilantro first on the cutting board so that if any cilantro pieces are left over, cutting the other ingredients and putting them in a serving bowl will allow the cilantro pieces to easily come off (I hope that makes sense). Serve in a nice serving bowl. Enjoy! |
