The home of Hampshire Cricket hosted seven ICC Cricket World Cup fixtures in 2019, two warm-up matches between England, Australia and Sri Lanka and five group stage fixtures which welcomed international sides India, South Africa, West Indies, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, as well as hosts and 2019 champions, England. In 2020, The Ageas Bowl became one of two bio-secure cricket stadia, hosting the first England test match of the summer against the West Indies, before Ireland, Pakistan and Australia all competed against England in various international formats at the venue.
