Professional Foundations is a self-guided bundle of online courses with built-in assessments. It takes roughly 30 hours to complete. Professional Foundations includes the following courses: AIGA Business for Designers AIGA Design Foundations AIGA Law for Designers AIGA Standards of Professional Practice The Professional Foundations online course bundle can also be paired with a design portfolio review to earn AIGA Professional Designer (PD) or AIGA Design Leaders (DL) certification. In ongoing AIGA research, 90% of community members said they would be interested in an AIGA professional certification. We know that this new program will help advance the profession, bring design to the executive table, and make design a strategic function in organizations.
