An original temple perched on a mountain dating back 5,000 years (a newer one replaces it), and another is the center of Ambaji visited by millions of devotees each year. We stopped at this temple just as a pilgrimage procession exited preparing to climb up to the spot of the original temple. A friendly group who wanted us to join them but we didn't have the time. Another full day planned. Instead, a fast wander around the market. |
