The inaugural flight was flagged off by by HM Shah from the Sheikh ul-Alam International Airport in Srinagar in the presence of Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha. Srinagar Mayor Junaid Azim Mattu on inauguration of the international flight said that it's a big milestone. "It's the first international flight connecting two regions, which have deep cultural, social and hopefully will have economic bonds too", said the Mayor.
