| Video Discription | Written, produced and directed by award-winning French director Luc Besson (Leon, The fifth Element and Le Femme Nikita), Anna presents a story of a resilient assassin who is used as a pawn but then breaks all the rules to control her own destiny. Set in cold war period, a Russian addict Anna Poliatova (Sasha Luss, Valeiran and the City of a Thousand of Planets) is recruited to be a model and brought to Paris, where she later has to live under the fear of her abusive boyfriend. A KGB agent Alex Tchenkov (Luke Evans, The Hobbit, Beauty and the Beast and Fast & Furious) offers her a chance to join the KGB and become an assassin, with the promise of freedom after five years, during which time Anna develops a special bond with her KGB handler Olga (Helen Mirren, The Queen, RED, The Cook, the Thief, His Wife and Her Lover) and gets involved in a love triangle between Alex and a CIA agent Leonard Miller (Cillian Murphy, Peaky Blinders, Inception, and The Dark Knight).
