| Video Discription | Please Read this description: The countdown, launch and earth orbit ops for Apollo 13. The sequence ends with the audio of the post launch press conference. This video is intended to be the first in a full re-reun of the Apollo 13 mission from launch to splashdown using the entire air-to-ground audio coupled with existing film footage and photos and the Orbiter Spaceflight Simulator. Each video will last about 1 hour. All audio is voxed (ie the breaks between comm is shortened). Therefore the video from the simulator will not always show what was happening at the exact MET. In this part I have put some of the pre launch activities of launch day together with some repeated video of the Saturn V on the pad. Video does not synch until about T-5 mins. There is no currently available full footage of the countdown available. Audio is voxed because there were large gaps between Chuck Hollinsheads announcements in the hour leading to liftoff.
