The project includes the construction of a new Parliament building, a new Central Secretariat, a new residence for the Vice President, and a new Prime Minister's Office. The new Parliament building is located on the same site as the existing Parliament House, which was built in 1927. The new building is designed to be more spacious and efficient than the existing building. It will have a larger Lok Sabha Hall with a capacity of up to 888 seats, and a larger Rajya Sabha Hall with a capacity of up to 384 seats.
