The work was started in 2011 and was inaugurated on 2 April 2017 by Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi. It became India's longest road tunnel with a length of 9.28 km by breaking the previous record of jahwar tunnel (2.85 km) and it is a two way tunnel . |
