He founded WikiLeaks in 2006, which leaked some of America’s biggest secrets. In 2010 it published footage of a US airstrike in Baghdad which killed almost a dozen civilians. Later that year a Swedish court ordered Assange’s arrest over rape allegations. Mr. Assange denied the accusations and claimed he was being set up.
