That’s because IONQ stock is being cheered on by a group of people who don’t understand the notion of intrinsic value. Once the hype dies down, IONQ shares will trade at levels more representing what peers trade at, in quantum computing and broader tech. As for other quantum computing stocks like D-wave stock or Rigetti stock, both these companies are in survival mode as they wait the 2/3/5 years it takes to bring something to market that can do things classical computers cannot.
