Our guest socio-political commentator on current affairs, Saudara Imraz Ikhbal, puts the blame squarely on the shoulders of the incompetent Speaker who is clearly unable to maintain decorum in Parliament. Saudara Imraz schools the Speaker on how to wield her power to maintain discipline and decorum in what has now been reduced to a veritable zoo with a troop of unruly grandstanding baboons intent on wasting everybody’s time. Surely, Yang Beroks are not paid five-figure salaries to waste time. As tax-payers, we have the right to see productive use of our hard-earned money. To see it wasted away by these despicable Yang Beroks only makes us feel nothing but utter contempt and derision towards them and their behaviour. P.S. Beroks are Southern pig-tailed macaques (Macaca nemestrina) and not baboons, which are primates from any of six species belonging to the genus Papio, but from the behaviour of our MPs, the distinction is moot.
