| Video Discription | The City of Leeds pipe band playing and marching on the lawn outside Balmoral Castle in Scotland. This was part of the Platinum Jubilee celebrations in June 2022 at Balmoral Castle and Estate in Royal Deeside, Aberdeenshire, Scotland. The set of tunes is "Cullen Bay", "Molly Connell", "The Piper of Drummond", "Dark Island" and finally "Itchy Fingers". The City of Leeds Pipe Band originally played at Balmoral for Queen Victoria and the current pipe band is made up of volunteers. The uniform is based on the Royal Stewart Tartan with green coatee and feather bonnet with a red hackle. The band is self supporting and they appear at many local events as well as television appearances and continental tours. |
