Phaya Thai is the first station in the city where you can take the train to reach the airport it will cost you around 30 Baht and will take barely 20 minutes to reach. Once you reach the airport, head to the 4th level which is the departure floor. Cab - If you have an early morning flight and are traveling from a little far, then a cab is a better option. Bus - Depending on which area you are starting from, you can get a direct airport bus. From Khao San Road, it's S1 for Suvarnabhumi and it will cost you around 60 Baht. Minivan - Another good option is booking a minivan seat for 200-250 Baht. It will take you a maximum of 1 hour to reach the airport. 🕒 How Much Time It Takes for Check-in and Security Check Generally, the airport is quite streamlined so it doesn't take a lot of time to pass the security check process. Web check-in depends on the airline but there is a self-check-in kiosk available that customers can use too. 🍔 Facilities and Amenities Available - Toilets - There are multiple toilets available throughout the airport which are clean and spacious. - Drinking Water - You will also find several drinking water spots at Suvarnabhumi Airport where you can drink water or fill up your bottle. - Restaurants and Food Outlets - There are multiple restaurants and food outlets available throughout the airport including Burger King, Subway, and more. - Shops - For shopping, there are a lot of options available here where you can buy gadgets, accessories, clothes, and more. - Baby Changing Room - If you are traveling with a baby, then you can change your baby's nappy or clothes in the baby changing room. - Waiting Lounge - Finally, there are Lounges available at different locations of the airport on the 3rd floor where you can enter for free if you have complimentary lounge access on your debit/credit card. - ATMs and Currency Exchange Counters - You will also find multiple ATMs and Currency exchange Counters throughout the airport. - Snacks Vending Machines - Before check-in counters, you can find several snacks Vending Machines as well to get something to eat or drink while waiting for the check-in counter to open. - VAT Refund for Tourists - You can also get a VAT refund on any goods or services that you purchase at the airport.
