But we do head to the Worlds 2nd Largest Hindu Temple (Mandir) IN THE WORLD!! If I told you the World's 2nd Largest Temple existed in a small town in New Jersey called Robbinsville, would you believe me? You should! It in fact does! And we are taking you there! Over 12,500 Volunteers spent the past 12+ years constructing this absolute masterpiece. There are over 10,000 Statues & Statuettes on this Campus and EVERY SINGLE ONE has been HAND CARVED! While the temple has been opened since October of 2023, it still has a ways to go in being completed. You can still see them hand carving inside the Temple to this day! Take note to the Brahma Kund (Stepping Pond) which has water from over 100 Rivers & lakes in India, as well as 300 bodies of water from around the world! The purpose behind this is to ensure that anyone who comes here feels welcome. I could go on forever writing about the beauty that encompasses Swaminarayan Akshardham, but the truth is...
