It happened at the Liberty Mart Convenience Store in the 400 block of Capitol Avenue NE around 3 p.m. Battle Creek police confirmed the clerk shot the suspect, who was armed with a knife, in the head. The 28-year-old male suspect was taken to the hospital, where he is currently alive and undergoing surgery. |
