| Video Discription | Introduces a new form of scholarly publication, a digital markup of the 5th-century phamacopoeia, "Collated and Annotated Materia Medica Bencao jing jizhu 本草經集注." The video demonstrates how to explore the text with new digital tools. These include an online text database, and an interactive digital map, as well as where to export detailed data tables. This video presents four novel historical arguments, and details the processes by which these results can be derived.
