We decided to take a 109-year-old anthem and give it a foot-tapping, soul-searching, contemporary spin. We used the not-so-popular stanzas from 'Saare Jahaan se Achha' and strung it into a music video that addresses the state of street children on this, our 67th Independence Day. A video that asks us to 'look' and not 'look away'. Hopefully the video forces us to spare a thought for the less fortunate and do our bit to make their lives a little easier. A little time, a little empathy, a small portion of our happiness can make a big difference to their lives. Do care. Do make a difference. Do.
