One of those phytonurrients called rheosmin, or raspberry keytone, has the ability to increase enzyme activity in certain fat cells, increasing metabolism, and the nutrient can also decrease the activity of other fat digesting enzymes, thus decreasing the digestion and absorption of fat. Research continues on raspberries’ potential ability to improve management of obesity. Raspberries are also high in nutrients known for their anti cancer properties and they have shown anti inflammatory benefits as well.
