Watch all the Ramanand Sagar's Jai Ganga Maiya full episodes here - http://bit.ly/JaiGangaMaiya Subscribe to Tilak for more devotional contents - https://bit.ly/SubscribeTilak अंशुमान के पुत्र की पत्नी भगीरथ का जनम देती है। समय बीतने के साथ ही भगीरथ राजा बन जाता है और असुरों से युद्ध करता है। भगीरथ के पिता अपने पुत्र को बताते हैं की मैं गंगा मैया को पृथ्वी पर लाने के लिए तप करने जा रहा हूँ और यदि में सफल नहीं हुआ तो सूर्यवंशियों की गंगा मैया को पृथ्वी पर लाने के लिए कमी नहीं होनी चाहिए। भगीरथ के पिता तप करने चले जाते हैं और समय बीतने के साथ ही भगीरथ के पिता भी मर जाते हैं। भगीरथ के पूर्वज और उसके पिता की आत्मा उसे अपनी मुक्ति के लिए गंगा मैया को पृथ्वी लाने के लिए कहते हैं। भगीरथ स्वर्ग पर आक्रमण करने के लिए जा रहा था तो इंद्र देव भगीरथ के पास आते हैं और उनसे असुर राज विरूपाक्ष को मारने के लिए कहते हैं। राजा भगीरथ असुर राज विरूपाक्ष के साथ युद्ध करते हैं और उसका वध कर देते हैं। राजा भगीरथ असुर राज विरूपाक्ष के साथ युद्ध करते हैं और उसका वध कर देते हैं। राजा भगीरथ इंद्र देव से कहता है की मैं गंगा मैया को पृथ्वी लोक ले जाने के लिए आया हूँ और मैं उन्हें लेकर अवश्य ही जाऊँगा। भगीरथ गंगा मैया को बंदी बनाने के लिए अपने बल का इस्तेमाल करने लगता है तो सूर्य देव उसे रोक देते हैं और उसे कहते हैं की गंगा मैया को बल से नहीं ले जा सकते उन्हें सिर्फ़ तप करके ही पृथ्वी पर ले जा सकते हो। गंगा मैया पर जैसे ही भगीरथ बाल का प्रयोग करता है तो गंगा मैया उसके सभी सैनिकों को अपने जल से मुक्ति दे देती हैं। भगीरथ गंगा मैया से क्षमा मानते हुए वापस चल जाता है और तप करके गंगा मैया को पृथ्वी पर लाने में लग जाता है। भगीरथ सूर्य देव से तप करने जाने की आज्ञा लेता है और ऋषि वशिष्ठ के पास भी आशीर्वाद लेने जाता है और तप करने की अनुमति लेकर तप करने में लग जाता है। भगीरथ के तप को देख कर असुर उसके तप को भंग करने की कोशिश करते हैं लेकिन नहीं कर पाते। भगीरथ अपने तप से ब्रह्मा जी को प्रसन्न कर देता है और ब्रह्म जी से वरदान में गंगा मैया को पृथ्वी लोक में आने के लिए कहता है। ब्रह्मा जी भगीरथ की बात मान लेते हैं और उनसे कहते हैं की तुम्हें गंग के वेग को पृथ्वी से टकराने से रोकने के लिए महादेव से प्रार्थना करनी होगी। भगीरथ महादेव का तप करता है जिस से महादेव प्रसन्न हो जाते हैं और उसे दर्शन देते हैं। भगीरथ महादेव से गंग मैया को अपनी जटाओं में समाहित करके पृथ्वी का उद्धार करने के लिए प्रार्थना करता है। महादेव भगीरथ की बात मान लेते हैं। महादेव गंगा मैया को अपनी जटाओं में बांध लेते हैं। जब महादेव गंगा को अपनी जटाओं में बांध लेते है और गंगा का परवाह पृथ्वी पर नहीं आता तो भगीरथ महादेव से गंग को पृथ्वी पर भेजने के लिए कहते हैं। महादेव गंगा मैया को अपने जटाओं से धारा को निकाल देते हैं। गंगा मैया भगीरथ के पीछे पीछे चलने लगती हैं। गंगा मैया भगीरथ के पीछे पीछे चलती है और रास्ते में गंगा मैया का जल जनहु ऋषि के आश्रम की ओर बहने लगता है क्योंकि उनके जल में दूसरी महा नदियों का जल मिल गया था। गंग मैया जनहु का आश्रम नष्ट कर देती हैं। ऋषि जनहु गंगा मैया द्वारा किए गए विनाश पर उन्हें दंड देने के लिए गंगा मैया को पी जाते हैं। भगीरथ ऋषि जनहु से गंगा मैया को मुक्त करने के लिए प्रार्थना करता है। Ramanand Sagar presents - 'JAI GANGA MAIYA' based on the most revered and the only living goddess - GANGA. Residing in the Kamandal of LORD BRAHMA, BHAGWATI GANGA, like SARASWATI and LAXMI, is one of the seven SHAKTIS of supreme GODDESS MAHAMAYA ADISHAKTI. The story goes far back when Kapil Muni curses King Sagar's sixty thousand and one sons and reduces them to ashes. On repeated requests by the sole son of King Sagar, Kapil Muni finally changes his mind and says that King Sagar's sons would attain MUKTI only if their ashes are cleansed by the holy water of GODDESS GANGA. Generation after generation apologize to pacify BRAHMA but without success - and finally after music praying by BHAGIRATH - the seventh generation of King Sagar, GANGA reluctantly consents to descend to earth. To contain its powerful fall, LORD SHIVA steps in the way and lets the river tumble gently through his long hair onto the Himalayas. GANGA then flows across India to the edge of the ocean, where she washes over the ashes and gives of millions of Indians for whom the river is Holy because river Ganga personifies GODDESS GANGA who descends to earth to cleanse the sins of mankind.
