| Video Discription | The Bitcoin halving event has “captivated” investors as the amount of new Bitcoin entering the market is set to slash by 50 per cent overnight, according to Swyftx lead market analyst Pav Hundal. Bitcoin’s first halving occurred in November 2012, and its fourth halving will occur on April 20. Mr Hundal said historically, investors have seen “impressive returns” six months after a halving event. “Every four years, it’s like the Olympics for us; we are just sort of ushering in the next wave of adoption, understanding what is this type of investment class,” he told Sky News Australia. “It really does offer different ways of storing your wealth compared to what is traditionally available on the markets today.” |
