| Video Discription | It’s elderberry syrup season! Boil 1/2 cup dried elderberry and 2 cups of water. Reduce liquid to half and then remove from heat and strain. Cool to 95 deg F or cooler and add 1/2 cup raw honey (up to 1 cup for thicker and sweeter syrup). Add essential oils if using. I recommend 1-2 drops cinnamon, 2 ginger, and 4 wild orange. Can also substitute doTERRA OnGuard essential oil. Store in fridge for up to 2 weeks or freeze for several months. 1 tsp/day seasonably for adults and 1/2 tsp for kids. Raw honey is not safe for kids under 1 year old.
