| Video Discription | Why is your nose always bloody? Do you feel like every time you blow your nose, you're getting blood on your tissue or you're getting bad nosebleeds that are embarrassing and annoying? Well, listen in. It turns out, right here, right when you get into the nose, there are a bunch of blood vessels that are really close to the skin surface. And so anything that irritates them is gonna cause these blood vessels to get irritated, inflamed, and bleed. So, what are the most common things, well, one, it could be allergies. Anytime you're blowing your nose a lot or your nose is irritated, inflamed, the blood vessels get irritated, inflamed, and you get nosebleeds. Two, it might be that you have sinusitis or you have some other type of nasal infection that's causing the nose to get inflamed and bleed. And three, it might just be dryness. So the easiest thing to do if you're getting a lot of nosebleeds is to start using something like a nasal saline rinse. Just by spraying this into your nose a couple times a day, it can decrease the amount of dryness and hopefully stop the bleeding. The second thing that you want to do is, if you get a nosebleed, you wanna hold pressure and a lot of people will hold pressure up here, but you actually wanna hold pressure down here and you wanna hold for like 10 minutes straight without letting go. Because some people will hold for a minute and then let go and the blood clot falls. So that's the other thing. And the third thing you can do is use something called Afrin, A F R I N.
