This was the semi-final match from the inaugural Tournament of Champions event, with this particular show featuring Mike Morgan going for three straight wins in the tournament, having to take on Bob Moran who qualified in 2nd place overall for this ladder. This match is no doubt one of the greatest matches in the history of Stars & Strikes in its 20+ year run on TV, as this show not only broke records when it came to scoring, but also featured some moments that would then be used in the future opening of the show on TV as well. The crowd was intense, pins flew in every direction imaginable, and the scores were very and I mean VERY high in this one.
