They were the lucky owners of a $3.2 million mansion, high-priced cars, expensive clothes and jewelry, and other luxurious items. Naltrexone Naltrexone’s main purpose is to help recovering users stay substance-free by blocking the effects of narcotics. Naltrexone doesn’t make a user feel lifted so to speak, and it will put a patient in withdrawal if he or she is still dependent. Beginnings Rosen began his scheme in 2017. First, users were identified by searching sober homes or using "body-brokers" to find people in recovery. Then, they would begin their medical journey by seeking a consultation and lab work from Rosen. Targets Dr. Rosen only had one stipulation when selecting his targets; they must have good insurance. Remember, he wasn't stealing their money with these procedures. Instead, he was ripping off the insurance companies. Investigative Prowess Brennen's mother knew her son had a problem and that he was seeking help. That's why she went along with it when he called her to let her know he'd found a treatment. Being informed that her insurance would cover it, his mom was willing to try anything. Aftermath In July 2020, Rosen pled not guilty to 88 felony counts related to his scam. He was denied bail due to his vast wealth and high flight-risk potential. However, Rosen then tested positive for COVID and was placed under house arrest. |
