| Video Discription | This *incredible* video shows the very special caesarean birth of Maya's little boy, Yuvan, who was breech. Maya is one of the incredible heroes from our #BirthingTheFuture campaign and we are absolutely honoured to be able to share her beautiful birth video. Maya has given birth twice, both times via planned caesarean due to her babies being breech. And both experiences been wonderfully positive. When Maya found out her first baby was breech towards the end of her pregnancy, she tried everything to get her baby to turn, including an ECV. When baby didn’t turn, she decided to give birth by caesarean. After this, Maya was told she had a bicornuate uterus (heart-shaped uterus) which might explain why her baby had been in the breech position. Sure enough, when pregnant for the second time, she discovered her baby was breech again. Maya opted to give birth via caesarean again, and you can watch this happen in this amazing video.
