| Video Discription | Brown’s Hotel in Laugharne, West Wales is now a boutique hotel but back in the day, Browns Hotels was the favourite pub of the Welsh poet, Dylan Thomas. Dylan Thomas lived in Laugharne with his wife Caitlin and his family until his death in 1953. He is buried in the local cemetery. You can visit his last home “the Boathouse” which overlooks the picturesque Taf Estuary. You can find Brown’s Hotel in the centre of Laugharne a short walk from Laugharne castle. The building dates from 1752 and became a hotel back in the 19th century. The hotel bar is named Dylans after Dylan Thomas and the restaurant is Dexters Steak House & Grill, named after the Dexter breed of cattle.
