Life has been busy and sometimes I forget that my parents are getting older, and all they want is to spend quality time with me, so I set aside some time to spend some much needed quality time with my parents playing bowling and taking a walk at punggol beach. 2024 has been so lovely so far. I hope you are having a good year too 💜 Tanghulu recipe that worked for us: - fruits of your choice (and make sure they are fully dryyyy or the sugar will not stick) - 2 parts white sugar (we tried raw sugar and that did not work) - 1 part water - pour water over sugar without stirring or swirling the pot - boil the sugar until it is 150 degrees celsius / a nice amber colour if you don't have a thermometer - remove from heat immediately so that your sugar doesn't continue to burn like ours :') - dip your fruits in the the sugar syrup and voila, you have bing tang hu lu |
