| Video Discription | Obviously the Cadillac V-Series.R has been among the cars I wanted to record the most in 2023. Even if it was quite sci-fi but I really hoped to see it doing some private test in Monza until the end, in order to better record its V8 sound. As you can see I had to settle for the chaotic 6 Hours race weekend from which I couldn't bring home many of the classic, long and pure sound scenes you're used to. The Cadillac has been developed under the "Le Mans Daytona h" (LMDh) regulations which allows it to be fielded alongside Le Mans Hypercar (LMH) entries in the Hypercar class of the FIA WEC or in the GTP class of the IMSA SportsCar Championship. Compared to Le Mans Hypercar (LMH) rule set, in which there's much more freedom in designing the car, LMDh teams are forced to rely on one of the 4 chassis manufacturers chosen by ACO and IMSA (Dallara, Ligier, Multimatic and Oreca) in order to have a base from which to build their own vehicle. Cadillac continued their partnership with Dallara, taking most of the experience from their previous DPi-V.R into the new project.
