In 2013, Nigel was diagnosed with early onset dementia and has since become a passionate human rights campaigner. Having experienced his rights all too easily eroded, he is dedicated to bringing into the light the injustice suffered by those living with dementia. Nigel believes that the diagnosis doesn't always turn a vibrant person into someone who can’t see themselves out the fog. He hopes for a slow progression to have lots more priceless experiences and hold people to account in situations where he sees injustice.
