| Video Discription | The University of Hawaii women’s volleyball team has chosen to challenge itself with its 2024 nonconference slate, which features five matches against four teams that made the NCAA Tournament in 2023. The Rainbow Wahine will open the season with a home match against 2023 American Athletic Conference champion SMU on Aug. 30, now a member of the ACC. On Sept. 1, the Rainbow Wahine will host perennial power San Diego. The following week, Hawaii hosts a two-match series against Pepperdine, the 2023 West Coast Conference champion. On consecutive days in September, Hawaii will take on two-time defending national champion Texas on the road on Sept 20., then Baylor on Sept. 21.
