| Video Discription | #nfl #chicagobears #detroitlions #portsmouth #championship The NFL in 1932 was wild to say the least. there was no Championship game in the league then, in fact it was banned in 1924. however, 1932's season Championship was controversial due in part to the Green Bay Packers at 10-3-1 winning 4 more games than the 2 teams ahead of them in the Chicago Bears (6-1-6) & Portsmouth Spartans (6-1-4) [Now the Detroit Lions] But ties didn't count towards winning percentage in 1932 (still wouldn't until 40 years later) which resulted in Chicago and Portsmouth, having to play a Playoff to determine that year's NFL Champion... the rest is history from there.
