Paper - 8 has two parts, Section-A: Financial Management and Section-B: Economics for Finance. Section-A Financial Management comprises of 60 marks and Section-B Economics For Finance comprises of 40 marks. Our focus in this playlist will be on Section A which is Financial Management. The syllabus of Financial Management is divided into 10 chapters. The detailed syllabus of CA Inter FM is as follows- Module-1 Chapter 1: Scope and Objectives of Financial Management Chapter 2: Types of Financing Chapter 3: Financial Analysis and Planning - Ratio Analysis Chapter 4: Cost of Capital Chapter 5: Financing Decisions - Capital Structure Chapter 6: Financing Decisions - Leverages Module-2 Chapter 7: Investment Decisions Chapter 8: Risk Analysis in Capital Budgeting Chapter 9: Dividend Decisions Chapter 10: Management of Working Capital Unit I: Introduction to Working Capital Management Unit II: Treasury and Cash Management Unit III: Management of Inventory Unit IV: Management of Receivables Unit V: Management of Payables (Creditors) Unit VI: Financing of Working Capital Financial Management is one of the scoring papers in the CA Intermediate Examination. However, many students do not realize that. Due to lack of practice, they feel FM is a tough subject. Half of the students feel that this subject is theoretical and half of them feel that FM is a practical subject. If you ask us then we feel that it's a conceptual subject rather than theory or practical. You are not going to get exact questions in the exam.
