| Video Discription | Chicken foo yung Chicken foo yung is a super quick and tasty dish to cook. It is a Chinese version of scramble eggs I suppose. To be honest I prefer eating foo yung to omelettes because foo yung is bit softer and has bit of juice compare to an omelette. For my chicken foo yung recipe below I used 3 egg and half chicken breast, small handful of bean sprouts, some onion and spring onion. Chicken foo yung 3 eggs Half fresh chicken breast Small handful bean sprouts 1 stalk spring onion Few slices of onion 1g salt Break the egg into a large bowl and add some salt; whip them thoroughly and set aside. Cut a few slices of onion and spring onion into 2 inches in length. Wash a handful of bean sprouts and drain them on a colander. Slice the chicken breast into thin strips. Heat some water and blanch the chicken breast for 2-3 minutes and drain them. Heat a wok with some vegetable cooking oil and add the onion first; let it sizzle for a few seconds then pour the eggs in. Add the chicken breast and gently roll the ingredients around the wok and add the bean sprouts. When the bottom begins to set flip it over (if you can keep them in the wok ). Now you can start by stir frying a few times. Scrap the bottom if it stick to the wok. When the eggs turn solid add the spring onion to complete the dish. #chickenfooyung #chickenfooyung |
