But when I showed up to film, the bridge was....CENSORED by FOG (omg!!!). I was REALLY disappointed. And then, faced with a decision to cancel the shoot or film anyway. I chose to film anyway because of a coin toss. And here's why I'm glad I did: Turns out, so many people were disappointed by the lack of the Golden Gate Bridge (including those who flew from outside the country just to see it). But THIS Chinese man named CJ set the theme for the whole day: Even in times of disappointment, let's sing, have fun, and appreciate life ANYWAY. All I can say is, I'm GLAD I did not cancel. As a musician, I'm all about creating musical experiences that have people feeling happy and free, and that's why the "Sing With Me" series exists. A lot of people have said no, some have said no initially but changed their minds to yes, and some have said yes right away.
