| Video Discription | One of the standard components in a Chinese / Japanese calligraphy kit is the chop, or stamp. This is traditionally the way that a work of calligraphy is "signed". The chop will generally come uncarved in the kit - it is up to the kit owner to get their chop carved with the symbol they choose. This video shows you how the chop is used. For instructions on how to carve your chop using a Dremel tool, I have this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RCxB9hh0jXg The chop video should help people new to calligraphy to learn how their tools work.
