The creators of this video are adamantly convinced that the story of the birth of Jesus Christ as related in Scripture is an historical, fully reliable, accurately described event through which the salvation of humanity becomes possible, because without the birth of Jesus as a man, God could not suffer death for the sake of humanity.
Sin leaves its eternal mark on each person's soul, and you, being finite, have no means to remove an eternal mark, except by eternity in Hell. However, Jesus, being infinite in his nature, is able to pay for the removal of eternal sin in a finite amount time, so that it is removed for eternity.
Further, Jesus was the God of the Bible, come to Earth in a Human body so that he could be killed by his own creation in order to satisfy the demands of his own law so that humanity need not live eternally separate from God, except by each person's individual choice. As he was historically raised from the dead, so each of us might also be raised from the dead in him. He is, even today, powerfully alive and will take each person who calls on him for salvation, and he will enter into a personal relationship with that person, at any time.
Christianity is not a "religion" that you can simply "decide" to be a member of; to try to do so is a violation of the third of the ten commandments: "Thou shall not take the name of the lord in vain." In order to be a Christian, you must invoke the initiator of Salvation, Jesus Christ, and ask to be made a part of that eternal contract of salvation. Becoming a Christian is a joint venture between any one person and the saviour.
To call yourself a Christian without entering into that contract with Jesus is breaking the third of the ten commandments, and, as the Bible says, "The Lord will not hold him guiltless who takes his name in vain." In order to not misuse his name (take his name in vain) you must ask him to save you.
Call on him today and ask to be made a Christian by the power of Jesus' death and resurrection. Then you will be made clean---all your sins will be forgiven---and you will have then entered into your eternal life; that is to say, you will be saved. |
