| Video Discription | The inauguration of the newly formed district, Chumukedima was held on June 29 at the Deputy Commissioner’s office in Chumukedima. Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio graced the programme as the chief guest while the welcome address was given by Chumukedima Deputy Commissioner, Abhinav Shivam. CM Rio while addressing the gathering as the chief guest, stated that it's a great pleasure to inaugurate Chumukedima as the 16th district of Nagaland. HE asserted that Chumukedima is a land of opportunities. Rio further mentioned that Chumukedima will soon become an intellectual hub while he also stressed on saying that unity among people is very needed to bring development in the state. Several other dignitaries and officials including Advisor Sericulture, Excise and Minority Affairs Zhaleo Rio, PHED minister Jacob Zhimomo, MLA Azheto Zhimomi, Commissioner of Nagaland, Chakhroma Public Organisation, Western Sumi Hoho and village council chairman also attended the programme .
