| Video Discription | Thousands of protesters took to the streets in defiance of a curfew imposed in Guwahati after the parliament cleared the contentious Citizenship (Amendment) Bill. The suspension of Internet services in 10 districts of Assam has been extended for another 48 hours from noon, and army personnel deployed in four areas where clashes between protesters and police were witnessed. Many other parts of the Northeast were plunged into chaos too, forcing the suspension of train services to Assam and Tripura and spurring several airlines to cancel flights to Guwahati and Dibrugarh.
