Thanks I ran across a gas tank that was in good shape but rusty inside, in this video we go over the steps to clean it up nicely overnight without dangerous or flammable chemicals. Depending on the metal of the tank, some tanks can re-rust with ethanol based fuel so it's a good idea to add rust inhibiting sealant to protect the metal before re-installing the tank. I added a "part 2" video of doing this 3 different ways on a tank that is cut open so you can see what happens inside. |
