After growing up in The Bronx and going on to get his BS in Computer Information Systems, Nicson actually ended up getting out of the tech industry for a number of years after an unsuccessful attempt at learning coding. But with the desire still there after all those years, he decided to try again and more seriously pursue his interest in coding, and moved out to Portland, OR to attend The Tech Academy's Software Developer Boot Camp. With a lot of hard work and dedication he graduated from the program and was accepted into the prestigious Microsoft LEAP apprenticeship program, where he currently is today.
